Security Products Services Engineer (Remote Brazil)

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support and managed services for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a Security Products Services Engineer (SPSE) to work remotely from a home office in Brazil. The role reports directly to the Regional Manager and involves implementing, administering and supporting Rimini Street security solutions under the guidance of a Security Solutions Architect, in client on-premise or cloud environments hosting applications such as Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP and JDE.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot security products using repeatable project plans, and integrate the solution with client SIEM tools
• Collaborate with Global Security Services teams on post-implementation support, including security policy maintenance, patches and software updates
• Monitor the security solution, manage support cases according to SLAs, and handle product issue logs with Senior Solutions Architects
• Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to clients and document implementation configurations
• Support account managers and onboard project managers with project status and data for business reviews
• Give feedback to Security Solutions Architects to improve implementation and adaptation processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience with IT procedures, Data Center operations (in-house and outsourced) and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Proven experience contributing to IT projects in professional and managed services, with strong customer service skills

Required skills

• Understanding of technology stacks such as network, application and database servers
• Installation and configuration experience following manuals and best practices
• Preferred: knowledge of security concepts such as virtual patching, cloud security, encryption and identity management
• Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure and GCP, and experience delivering managed services against contractual SLAs
