Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a growth financing marketplace helping small business owners access capital and financial management services. We seek a Senior Accountant to lead comprehensive accounting operations for multiple client entities, delivering accurate reporting and high‑quality client service in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books for multiple clients, including daily reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage full AP/AR cycles and ensure organized financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for client‑ready presentation.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting cases, propose adjustments, and leverage AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Adapt quickly to new technology platforms, integrations, and AI‑powered accounting solutions.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and system optimization.
• Provide clear financial insights and act as a trusted advisor for client decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Tax and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless data flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience, including IFRS reporting and multi‑entity structures.
• Client‑facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and deadline‑driven.
• Comfortable working in an AI‑driven, technology‑first environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms for accounting.
