Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a growth‑financing marketplace that connects small businesses with capital and provides world‑class financial management services. We seek a Senior Accountant to lead comprehensive accounting operations for multiple client entities, delivering accurate reporting and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books for multiple clients, including daily reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage full AP/AR cycles and ensure organized financial records.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial statements.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting cases, propose adjustments, and leverage AI/automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and system optimizations.
• Provide clear financial insights and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Collaborate with Tax and Customer Experience teams for seamless data flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience, including multi‑entity and complex structures.
• Client‑facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and deadline‑driven.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with modern accounting tech stacks, APIs, and data‑analysis tools.
• Strong aptitude for AI tools, automation platforms, and rapid technology adoption.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
