Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a growth‑financing marketplace helping small businesses access capital and financial management services. We seek a Senior Accountant to lead comprehensive accounting operations for multiple client entities, delivering accurate reporting and high‑quality client service in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books for multiple clients, including daily reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage end‑to‑end AP/AR processes and ensure organized financial records.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial statements ready for client delivery.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity across all accounts.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting cases, propose adjustments, and leverage AI/automation to streamline workflows.
• Adapt quickly to new technology platforms, integrations, and AI‑powered accounting solutions.
• Collaborate with Tax and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience, including multi‑entity and complex structures.
• Client‑facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Experience with modern accounting tech stacks, APIs, integrations, and data analysis tools.
• Comfort with AI tools, automation platforms, and rapid technology adoption.
