Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA II)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA II) in São Paulo or Porto Alegre, Brazil. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, the role involves designing and analysing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data and contributing to the development of treatments that benefit patients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical trial monitoring activities, taking responsibility for deliverables and working collaboratively.
• Carry out site qualification, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits for clinical trials.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity and patient safety throughout the trial.
• Work with investigators and site staff to ensure smooth study conduct.
• Review data and resolve queries to maintain high-quality clinical data.
• Help prepare and review study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
