Senior Design Engineer – Harvesting Products

About the role

AGCO’s Harvesting team is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to drive performance improvements across our harvesting products. You will work on diagnostics, data analysis and structured problem‑solving to boost efficiency, reliability and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement performance improvements through hands‑on diagnostics and data analysis.
• Lead Lean and quality initiatives such as Kaizen, 8D, PDCA and root‑cause analysis to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Field Service and Suppliers to deliver durable technical solutions.
• Translate field and customer feedback into actionable engineering changes and validated corrective actions.
• Promote a continuous‑improvement culture by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering background.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, responsible attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably CREO.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 8D, PDCA).
• Root‑cause analysis and data analysis capabilities.
