Senior DevOps / DataOps Engineer

About the role

Infosys Brazil is looking for a Senior DevOps/DataOps Engineer to join the Lakehouse Platform team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline that powers the Enterprise Lakehouse on Databricks, ensuring all platform artifacts are versioned, tested, and promoted in an automated and auditable way.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the end‑to‑end CI/CD pipeline for Databricks workloads.
• Automate packaging and deployment of jobs, workflows, libraries and catalog objects using Databricks CLI and Repos.
• Enforce software engineering standards and data‑governance policies across the platform.
• Collaborate with cloud, security and data teams to integrate identity, storage, networking and managed services.
• Monitor pipeline health and infrastructure using observability tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or DataOps, building CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Strong background in Jenkins, Git branching strategies, and release management.
• Advanced Python development skills, including packaging and publishing libraries.
• Experience with Terraform (including Databricks provider) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proven ability to write unit and integration tests for data pipelines (e.g., pytest).
