Senior Finance Manager – Controllership

About the role

Netflix is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its Controllership team in Brazil. The role will support regional finance operations, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and drive strategic financial initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic financial projects aligned with company goals.
• Oversee a significant finance area, ensuring operational excellence across geography or technical domains.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members and peers.
• Engage independently with external auditors and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as the technical voice on GAAP, IFRS, and emerging financial trends.
• Communicate clear, concise financial insights to senior leadership and act as a trusted business partner.
• Promote inclusion and diversity in line with Netflix’s I&D strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian GAAP, IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Proven track record of leading financial process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Experience with shared service center implementation is a plus.
