Senior Procurement Analyst – Travel, Expenses & Events

About the role

The Senior Procurement Analyst for Travel, Expenses and Events (TE&E) supports NielsenIQ’s sourcing and category operations across travel (air, hotels, transportation, TMC, expense platforms) and events (sponsorships, agencies, venues, execution). The role provides analytical support, manages spend data, and coordinates suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, reliable service delivery, and measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and organize spend data to ensure accurate tracking of expenditures across Travel and Events categories.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records on supplier coverage and contract status for transparency and decision‑making.
• Assist sourcing activities by preparing documents, gathering supplier information and compiling market insights.
• Research and maintain intelligence on key suppliers such as TMCs, airlines, hotels, car‑rental providers and event agencies.
• Structure supplier and market information to support evaluation, benchmarking and category strategies.
• Contribute to cost‑saving initiatives, improved terms and value creation while ensuring governance and ESG considerations.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or category analysis, especially within travel, expenses and events spend.
• Strong analytical abilities to collect, validate and interpret spend data.
• Ability to conduct supplier research and basic benchmarking.
• Collaboration skills to work with finance, marketing and operational teams.
• Understanding of governance, risk management and supplier diversity principles.
