Senior Risk Management Analyst

About the role

Mastercard Brazil is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Risk Management team. The role will help design, implement and maintain the Risk Management Framework, ensuring it meets Mastercard standards, local regulations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support governance, rollout and reporting of core framework components such as risk appetite, operating model and risk culture initiatives.
• Prepare management information, dashboards and reports for internal governance forums and regulatory audiences.
• Maintain and govern risk policies, standards and procedures, coordinating reviews and stakeholder approvals.
• Design and keep up‑to‑date process maps, workflows and procedural guides with proper version control.
• Develop risk‑related training materials and assist in training activities.
• Monitor compliance with risk policies across the First Line of Defense and contribute to risk assurance activities.
• Provide general support to the Brazil Risk Management team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5‑7 years of experience in internal controls, audit, risk management or compliance, preferably in payments or financial services.
• Strong reporting and presentation abilities.
• Good understanding of risk management principles, the Three Lines of Defense model and financial services risk frameworks.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo or Access.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance risk management documentation.
