Senior SAP Developer – DRC & Global e-Invoicing (Women’s affirmative action)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team as a key technical member supporting critical and strategic SAP initiatives. The role requires proactive ownership, strong customer focus, and deep expertise in SAP ABAP development across SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and optimize solutions using SAP S/4HANA, ABAP Object‑Oriented programming, and ABAP Cloud.
• Implement end‑to‑end electronic invoicing processes with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Configure SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) mappings and manage country‑specific XML structures.
• Handle electronic document processing in EDOC_COCKPIT, including submission logic, status management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Design, maintain, and debug APIs, interfaces, and XML payloads for integration with external platforms and authorities.
• Monitor system performance, apply advanced debugging, and ensure compliance with clean‑core and security standards.

Required profile

• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• High level of accountability, customer orientation, and ability to work independently on business‑critical topics.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA development and ABAP Object‑Oriented programming.
• Expertise in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and electronic invoicing processes.
• Experience configuring SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) and using EDOC_COCKPIT.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot APIs, interfaces, and XML integrations.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
