Workload Automation (WLA) Senior Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch's global IT operations team responsible for the enterprise Workload Automation (WLA) platforms. You will work remotely from anywhere in Brazil, supporting critical automation services 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain automation platforms (Automic UC4, Redwood) and their agents.
• Manage users, roles, permissions and platform security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Configure and support high‑availability, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Support Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Administer Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell and Python.
• Participate in a 24×7 on‑call rotation to ensure continuous service availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and fluency in English.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, resilience and accountability.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Workload Automation platforms (Automic UC4, Redwood).
• Database administration experience with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Administration of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell and Python.
