About the role

The SMS Analyst will support Alfa Laval’s QHSE initiatives by ensuring risk assessments and environmental analyses are up‑to‑date and compliant with legislation. The role contributes to continuous improvement of safety, health, environmental and quality performance across manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

Maintain risk assessments for equipment, processes, chemicals and other relevant hazards in line with current legislation.
Update environmental analyses to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Develop and maintain QHSE management systems, including auditing processes, KPI tracking, training, SOPs and improvement projects.
Handle quality aspects of manufacturing processes and products to meet customer requirements.
Perform quality control activities at supplier workshops, factories and sites, ensuring equipment meets contractual and industry standards.
Support line management in fulfilling their QHSE accountability.
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at preventing injuries, reducing environmental impact and raising quality standards.
