Software Engineer – AI Training Platform

About the role

Vetto is building the core infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI training data. As a Software Engineer you will shape the internal platform that supports annotation tools, data pipelines, automation systems, and reusable components across multiple AI domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Vetto’s internal annotation and data‑collection platform.
• Create reusable components that serve diverse AI training intents.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, workflow automations, and quality‑monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and intent leads to deliver features quickly.
• Implement observability tools to track data quality throughout the pipeline.
• Prototype and evaluate new tools or frameworks as requirements evolve.
• Help define engineering standards and architectural decisions as the team scales.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, system design, and clean code.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, iterative environments where requirements change rapidly.
• Experience building internal platforms, annotation tools, or data pipelines is a plus.

Required skills

• Backend development with Python and/or Node.js.
• Frontend development with TypeScript and React (or equivalent modern framework).
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
