Software Engineer, Platform Experience

About the role

Siena is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Platform Experience to own and resolve the most challenging production issues faced by our consumer‑brand customers. You will work directly with customers, diagnose complex failures, and build automated fixes that prevent recurrence, acting as a bridge between support and product engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve critical production incidents such as broken webhooks, mis‑filled parameters, and unreconciled reports.
• Collaborate with customers in real time, including calls, to understand symptoms and deliver immediate solutions.
• Develop automation and tooling that eliminates repeat incidents and improves platform reliability.
• Document root‑cause analyses and share knowledge across the engineering team.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap by identifying patterns and proposing systemic improvements.
