Storekeeper - FPSO Materials Coordinator

About the role

BW Energy is looking for a Storekeeper (Materials Coordinator) in Rio de Janeiro who will oversee onboard inventory, warehouse and materials logistics on an FPSO. The role covers requisitions, material code creation and disembarkation logistics, works closely with onshore Procurement and requires strong organization, technical accuracy and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate computer records using the FPSO's stock control software and keep stores secure, preventing loss or theft.
• Carry out regular inventory checks and receive incoming stores, checking them against manifests and purchase orders and preparing the Materials Received Onboard summary.
• Issue materials under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, record issues and inform him when stock falls below minimum levels.
• Update minimum and maximum stock levels, keep a punch list of maintenance issues and take part in internal stock audits.
• Work with the BW dedicated buyer so that requisitions are complete and procurement is fast, and pack and identify materials for disembarkation as instructed.
• Create material codes and lists of material for BO, respond to GEMARE and Corporate Asset requests, and prepare non-conformance reports.
• Register issued PPE in line with Quality and HSE procedures, keep certifications and medical certificates up to date, attend company training and follow BW procedures including the Permit to Work system.

Required profile

• High school completed; technical education preferred.
• Experience in storekeeping, preferably on an FPSO.
• Advanced English.
• Additional training in logistics, supply chain or related areas is a plus.
