System Administrator – Azure & Databricks

About the role
Zurich Insurance Company’s ZCAM team is looking for a talented System Administrator with strong Azure expertise to support, maintain and evolve its enterprise cloud infrastructure, including initial Databricks setup. The role is hybrid, with two days onsite in São Paulo and three days remote.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, configure and optimize Microsoft Azure services to ensure availability, performance, resilience and security.
- Design, implement and manage cloud networking components such as virtual networks, subnets, peering, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs and load balancers.
- Develop automation and infrastructure‑as‑code using PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
- Set up and administer Databricks environments, monitor using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, and provide on‑call support as needed.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud networking.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
Required skills
- Azure services (VMs, networking, AD/Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).
- Automation/scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI.
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
- Databricks initial setup and basic administration.
- Monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
