Systems Validation & Certification Engineer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Systems Validation & Certification Engineer to support software certification and validation activities on cloud-native platforms. The role covers system validation, test execution, platform configuration, documentation, defect management and automation development, supporting application certification and lifecycle re-validation. It is a remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze application requirements and certification criteria.
• Create and execute validation and certification test plans.
• Validate applications running in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot platform, networking and deployment issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and reusable validation assets.
• Document configurations, test evidence and certification results.
• Identify, analyze and track defects using Jira and related tools.
• Collaborate with development teams, platform engineers and external partners.
• Support continuous improvement of validation and certification processes and take part in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with system testing, validation or certification processes.
• Experience using Git and source control repositories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create technical documentation and test reports.

Preferred: cloud-native platforms, Pytest or Robot Framework, High Availability environments, networking and distributed systems knowledge, GitOps, CI/CD and infrastructure automation, and Agile/Scrum experience.
