Tax Manager – Statutory Compliance & Strategy

About the role

Epiroc is seeking a Tax Manager to lead statutory tax compliance and tax accounting for its Brazilian operations. The role will ensure accurate, timely filing of all tax returns, support strategic tax planning, and guide the company through the Brazilian Tax Reform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead timely filing of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns in compliance with federal, state and municipal regulations.
• Ensure tax accounting records align with IFRS, CPC and internal standards.
• Review and approve current and deferred tax calculations.
• Oversee tax reporting submissions to Corporate Tax and monitor overall compliance.
• Manage tax‑related system updates (e.g., BPCS, Mastersaf) reflecting legislative changes.
• Monitor withholding taxes and reconcile key tax accounts periodically.
• Drive adaptation to the Brazilian Tax Reform, including process and system changes.
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with global policies.
• Provide expert guidance on tax regulations and coordinate tax audits.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Brazilian tax compliance, statutory reporting and tax accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, CPC and local tax legislation.
• Proven ability to lead tax strategy projects and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with internal tax teams and external advisors.
