Technical Project Manager – Healthcare Interoperability

About the role

Philips is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead hands‑on healthcare interoperability implementations across Latin America. You will combine technical expertise, customer leadership and project delivery to expand the Care Intelligence Platform portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end customer implementations, from initiation through stabilization, managing planning, risk, schedule, testing, cut‑over and post‑go‑live support.
• Install, upgrade and configure the Capsule Medical Device Information Platform (MDIP), perform onsite hardware setup and validate HL7 and SQL‑based integrations.
• Provide technical sales and solution‑architecture support, including demos, requirements qualification, architecture diagrams and interface specifications.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, biomedical, sales, engineering, support, reseller and subcontractor teams to translate healthcare workflows into integration solutions.
• Travel 50‑70% of the time to customer sites across Latin America and occasionally to other international markets for implementations, training and events.

Required profile

• Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English with at least 5 years of experience working across Latin America.
• 5 + years of hands‑on experience installing and configuring healthcare IT applications.
• Experience with Clinical Information Systems in hospital environments and ability to engage clinical, technical and biomedical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Willingness to travel 50‑70% of the time.

Required skills

• HL7 version 2 messaging.
• SQL query creation, troubleshooting and data validation.
• Windows Server log analysis.
• Networking concepts and certificate management.
• Public or private cloud deployment experience.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and medical device integration.
