Venture Fellow (AI-Native Investment Analyst)

About the role

Breakmark is partnering with a leading Latin American venture capital firm to recruit AI-native Investment Analysts for its investment team. This is an immersive learning experience at the intersection of venture capital, technology and entrepreneurship, working alongside founders and investors. It is not a traditional analyst role.

Key responsibilities

• Explore the Latin American startup ecosystem and identify emerging founders, unconventional ideas and overlooked opportunities.
• Evaluate investment opportunities through market research, company analysis and investment discussions with the wider team.
• Support the structuring, diligence and execution of new investments.
• Work with portfolio companies to help founders solve technical, operational and strategic challenges as they scale.
• Research and synthesize insights on emerging technologies, AI, new markets and industry trends.

Required profile

• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Buenos Aires, São Paulo or Mexico City.
• Student, graduate or self-taught builder with a quantitative or technical background (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related).
• Recognized for academic excellence, technical achievements, competitive programming, research or similar.
• Curious, proactive, autonomous and comfortable learning independently; early in your career.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• Comfortable programming, analyzing data or building technical projects.
• Startup experience or side projects are a strong plus.
