Projetista de Produto Júnior (NX)

About the role

Applus IDIADA, a global partner to the automotive industry, is looking for a Junior Product Designer specialized in NX to join its product development team. The role focuses on designing interior and exterior components as well as body-in-white (BIW) sheet‑metal parts for automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop product designs for interior, exterior and BIW sheet‑metal components.
• Ensure compliance with design criteria and package analysis during development.
• Create detailed engineering drawings.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Technical education (e.g., Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Plastics, Tooling, Molds, Cutting, Bending) – preferred.
• Interest in building a career in the automotive sector and working with technical drawings.
• Advanced English proficiency – preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with automotive product development using NX (preferred).
• Knowledge of PLM systems such as TeamCenter (preferred).
