Security Analyst – SOC & Physical Security

About the role

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join a global Security Operations Center (SOC) based in Brazil. The role combines cybersecurity monitoring with physical security oversight, ensuring rapid detection and response to threats across digital and facility environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage alerts from SIEM, EDR, and email security tools.
• Support incident response, including investigation, escalation, and coordination with senior teams.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
• Oversee physical security systems such as CCTV and access control.
• Handle L1 security tickets, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Prepare SOC reports and dashboards tracking alert volumes, incident trends, and compliance KPIs.
• Participate in shift handovers, on‑call rotations, and post‑mortems.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in a SOC or similar cybersecurity operations role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including MITRE ATT&CK.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA‑driven support environments.
