Senior US GAAP Accountant – Remote

About the role

MAVI is looking for a Senior Accountant with deep US GAAP expertise to join high‑growth US SaaS clients remotely. You will act as an extension of the client’s finance team, handling month‑end close, reporting, and subscription‑revenue accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Own full month‑end close under US GAAP, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain general‑ledger integrity for SaaS and subscription‑based structures.
• Support deferred‑revenue tracking, ARR reporting and subscription‑billing reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for US stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong US GAAP foundation.
• Background in technology, SaaS or IT services is a strong plus.
• Experience with deferred revenue, subscription accounting or recurring revenue models.
• Ability to work in a remote setting with overlap to US time zones.
