System Administrator – Remote (Brazil)

About the role

Metal Toad is seeking a System Administrator to support high‑availability, scalable cloud applications. The role is fully remote for candidates residing in Brazil and follows a Pacific Time schedule (8 AM‑5 PM PST).

Key responsibilities

• Plan and document cloud hosting systems, including capacity planning, instance selection, and network design.
• Build, configure, and test cloud resources using automation and configuration management.
• Provide managed services by troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
• Implement access controls, monitoring tools, and deliver security improvement recommendations.
• Monitor system performance, conduct analysis, and perform performance tuning.
• Maintain internal systems and customer deployment documentation.
• Participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation and respond to support tickets according to SLA commitments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Alignment with company values and mission.
