Manager, Solution Engineering

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Manager of Solution Engineering to lead a high‑performing team of Solutions Engineers in Brazil. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on pre‑sales activities, partnering with sales, channel partners and product teams to drive technical wins across LATAM.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of sales engineers who act as product introduction, evaluation and education experts.
• Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets and nurture customer relationships.
• Provide guidance on sales strategy, identify product gaps and represent the team’s needs to executive leadership.
• Leverage AI and data analytics to uncover patterns, improve technical win rates and support LATAM expansion.
• Own the technical win forecast at the regional level and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
• Collaborate closely with prospects, channel partners and internal product, engineering, marketing and services teams.
• Participate in recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates for the Solutions Engineering team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of pre‑sales experience with at least 3 years of direct line‑management responsibility.
• Proven expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence, data analytics, cloud computing, machine learning or AI agents.
• Strong hands‑on technical background with databases, ETL processes and analytics/data science.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and delivering technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
