Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a collaborative Agile engineering team in Brazil. You will help deliver high‑quality software solutions by designing and implementing modern quality practices across the entire software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, plans, and quality approaches for complex enterprise applications.
• Execute unit, component, integration, system, end‑to‑end, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Apply modern testing methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and risk‑based testing.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and promote shift‑left testing practices.
• Prepare and maintain test data, documentation, and quality artefacts.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product specialists, DevOps, and architects.
• Identify, investigate, and help resolve software defects and quality issues.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Test Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Solid understanding of functional and non‑functional testing approaches.
• Familiarity with enterprise‑scale software systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
