Remote Film & Video Editor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Film and Video Editor to work remotely on a contract basis. You will collaborate with AI and technical teams to improve automated editing workflows while delivering high‑quality storytelling through visual media.

Key responsibilities

• Train AI models on film and video editing principles, emphasizing storytelling, shot selection, and visual narratives.
• Provide annotated examples, feedback, and guidance to technical teams on editing tasks.
• Curate and organize video assets, working with producers or directors to streamline production workflows.
• Edit or synchronize soundtracks with moving images for seamless audio‑visual integration.
• Evaluate AI‑generated edits and deliver detailed written and verbal feedback to enhance model performance.
• Advocate best practices in pacing, synchronization, and visual clarity throughout the AI editing process.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in editing moving images on film, video, or digital media platforms.
• Strong proficiency with industry‑standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with producers or directors to achieve creative vision in post‑production.
• Solid understanding of synchronization, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques.
