Software Engineer – AI Billing

About the role

The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Product Team at Commure + Athelas powers the core operating system for our practices. Our product, Insights, provides practice staff and administrators with everything they need to manage their practice’s operations efficiently. This role will play a key role in scaling and maintaining our website’s infrastructure, ensuring a seamless user experience as we grow to support thousands of practices nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end products to scale and empower our operations teams.
• Participate in a fast‑paced team that celebrates rapid execution and decision‑making.
• Work across the entire software stack, from frontend to backend.
• Develop using a stack that includes Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React Native, Flask, and other frameworks.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of production software engineering experience.
• Ability to work on both frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, React) and backend (Python) and deliver product end‑to‑end.
• Basic understanding of cloud solutions such as GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and cycles.
• Understanding of standard web‑based technologies, RESTful standards and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Strong product engineering sense with a can‑do builder attitude.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve current processes.
• Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
