Accountant – Local Finance Team (Netherlands or Brazil)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join the local finance team of an international Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) company. The role will be based either in Brielle, Netherlands or Itaguaí, Brazil and focuses on the accounting activities of the respective branch.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vouchers, bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle daily banking operations and statutory accounting.
• Process vendor invoices, payments and prepare client invoices.
• Prepare management reports (MIS) on income, expenses and profitability.
• Enter accounting data in SAP and support monthly sales closing.
• Prepare financial reports for Corporate Finance and branch management.
• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting or finance.
• Good knowledge of local accounting regulations and statutory requirements.
• Experience with taxation and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP accounting experience (advantageous).
