Associate Business Analyst - SAP & Oracle EBS

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support for Oracle and SAP and a Salesforce and AWS partner, is hiring an Associate Business Analyst for its Global Product Delivery organization. The role supports SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions and translates business, tax, legal and regulatory requirements into functional requirements for compliant ERP updates. It is fully remote and based in Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business, tax, legal and regulatory requirements and turn them into functional system requirements for SAP or Oracle EBS.
• Support business analysis documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders, regulators, product teams and subject matter experts, and perform initial impact analysis.
• Document current and future state processes and maintain traceability between requirements, design and test results.
• Create test scenarios and test cases, prepare test data, run functional tests, document results and report defects.
• Help troubleshoot client issues and support release notes, configuration instructions and other client-facing documentation.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Maintain requirements and delivery documentation in collaboration and work-tracking tools, and share knowledge and improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 1-2 years of experience supporting SAP, Oracle EBS or a comparable ERP system.
• Basic understanding of ERP business processes such as Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Supply Chain, HR, Payroll or Tax.
• Exposure to software implementation, support, maintenance, enhancement or testing, and to business analysis and software testing practices.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Preferred: exposure to SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS, and familiarity with the SDLC.
• Preferred: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Preferred: Agile, Scrum or Kanban experience, and knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, interfaces or data validation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
