About the role

The Production Assistant supports the manufacturing team by operating equipment, ensuring parts are produced to specification, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with a high school education and up to two years of related experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of parts while meeting quality, functional and cosmetic tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools and record results.
• Maintain logs of units produced and report any errors or rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use, perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and orderly, following all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to two years of relevant production experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to interpret job specifications for production machinery.
• Basic understanding of, or quick learning ability for, production equipment.

Required skills

• Operation of production machinery.
• Use of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Basic equipment setup, adjustment and routine maintenance.
• Accurate record‑keeping of production output.
• Adherence to safety procedures.
