Backend Software Engineer (Applied AI)

About the role

Join In All Media’s remote LATAM team as a Backend Software Engineer focused on applied AI. You will help integrate large language model (LLM) capabilities into production enterprise systems, building the next generation of AI‑powered software.

Key responsibilities

• Build AI‑powered software and integrate LLM capabilities into production enterprise systems.
• Design and develop autonomous AI agents, tool‑calling systems, and multi‑step task orchestration workflows.
• Leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP) or equivalent open standards to connect AI models with external platforms and tools.
• Build and maintain scalable distributed architectures using REST/gRPC APIs and apply strong system design principles.
• Optimize context window management and implement reliability patterns for LLM execution at scale.
• Execute across the full software lifecycle—from rapid prototyping to production support—under tight delivery timelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on software engineering, backend systems, or applied AI experience.
• Strong ownership mindset, comfortable navigating rapid experimentation and robust production support.
• Fluent English communication skills for daily technical collaboration and documentation.
