Business Controller SR - Analytics & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Controller to join Volvo Trucks Latin America. The role blends finance, business partnering and digital transformation, focusing on analytics, automation and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage forecasts, budgets and strategic plans for the region.
• Analyze variances, KPIs and financial metrics, delivering clear insights to senior management.
• Partner with Latin America Controllers, Commercial leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand business drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports while ensuring compliance with Volvo financial policies.
• Lead automation and digitalisation initiatives within Finance and Business Control processes.
• Design dashboards, data‑visualisation tools and automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and decision‑making speed.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and optimise processes through digital tools and analytics.
• Promote a collaborative, innovative and high‑performance work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Experience in controllership, FP&A, business partnering or finance transformation, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, forecasting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Power Automate and Power Query.
• Familiarity with SAP or other financial reporting tools (a plus).
• Proficiency in building dashboards, data visualisation and business intelligence solutions.
• Automation and process‑optimisation capabilities.
