Client Services Associate (Medical Writing)

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Client Services Associate to join its Medical Writing division in Sao Paulo. You will act as the first point of contact for existing clients, coordinating language projects from request to delivery while ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assess client requests for new translation projects through the company’s technology platform.
• Collaborate with production teams to define scope, estimate costs and timelines, and create detailed project briefs.
• Initiate project work by setting budgets, schedules, and instructions, anticipating and mitigating potential roadblocks.
• Monitor project progress, enforce deadlines and budgets, and communicate status to clients.
• Serve as the central liaison between external client contacts and internal production staff, managing expectations and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO regulations and internal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience in customer service or client‑facing roles.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer applications.
