Commercial Sales Engineer (Sao Paulo)

About the role

Datadog is hiring a Commercial Sales Engineer in Sao Paulo. Sales Engineers help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners, providing technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations and support of technical evaluations (POCs). They also give feedback to the product team on features and act as an ambassador for the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to explain Datadog's value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential clients
• Learn new technologies continuously to build technical knowledge and credibility
• Work directly with the product team on feature requests
• Help clients onboard the product and overcome roadblocks
• Think creatively about technical challenges throughout the pre-sales cycle

Required profile

• Knowledgeable and experienced with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools
• Confident delivering technical presentations and demos to external customers or internal teams
• Able to think creatively about a wide range of challenges
• Previously experienced in system administration (Windows or Linux)
• Able to sit up to 4 hours while travelling to client sites
• Able to travel by car, train or air up to 25% of the time
