Communications Manager – Brazil

About the role

Change.org is seeking a Communications Manager to lead its communications operations across Brazil. Reporting to the Associate Director of Communications, you will champion citizen‑driven campaigns, amplifying their impact through press, social media and email.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, support and drive high‑impact people‑power campaigns, generating strong reach across social and traditional media.
• Increase awareness of Change.org and its campaigns among media, decision‑makers and key audiences.
• Build and sustain relationships with journalists, influencers, officials and partners to boost campaign visibility.
• Lead corporate communications in Brazil, implementing the global strategy across owned and earned media.
• Collaborate with functional leads on global brand strategy and contribute to departmental goals.
• Engage the email audience with timely, high‑performing content.
• Maintain a campaign portfolio aligned with brand principles and ideological diversity.
• Manage operational and legal compliance, budget execution and accounting for the Brazil entity.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Proven experience crafting press pitches, marketing emails and social content.
• Established network with journalists, influencers, civil‑society actors, officials and politicians.
• Strategic mindset with innovative ideas for digital campaigning at local and national levels.
