Country Controller – Brazil & Paraguay

About the role

The Brazil & Paraguay Country Controller will lead the controllership function for all Vylor legal entities in the two countries. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures accurate financial statements, compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP, and provides financial insight to support regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and certify US GAAP financial statements for all entities.
• Lead month‑end close activities, including revenue recognition, accruals, inventory valuation, remeasurement, translation and related postings.
• Coordinate with the Tax team to ensure compliance with Brazilian tax regulations and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Prepare local GAAP financial statements, manage audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Reconcile US GAAP books to local books and monitor new reporting standards.
• Maintain SOX‑compliant internal control environment and act as primary contact for external and internal auditors.
• Ensure adherence to Vylor’s global accounting policies and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting and reporting for multinational entities.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP, Brazilian GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Experience managing month‑end close, audit processes and tax compliance in Brazil and/or Paraguay.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional finance teams and external stakeholders.
