Energy Services Director – Brazil & South America

About the role

The Energy Services Director will lead Brenntag’s growth in Brazil and South America by delivering integrated chemical and energy solutions to industrial customers. This senior position combines sales leadership with deep knowledge of energy optimisation, process efficiency and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with regional growth targets and sector priorities.
• Drive profitable growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers in oil & gas, power, mining and manufacturing.
• Position Brenntag as the partner of choice for integrated chemical and energy service solutions.
• Build long‑term relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor on energy usage, process improvement and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with technical, product management and operations teams to design tailored solutions.
• Support development and commercialisation of innovative offerings focused on energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights.
• Lead pricing, contract negotiations and commercial agreements within Brenntag’s governance framework.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
• Work in a matrix organisation, partnering with supply chain, finance and HSE teams to ensure compliant execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business or a related field (MBA a plus).
• 7–12 years of experience in chemical distribution, energy services or industrial B2B sales.
• Proven success in solution selling and key‑account management.
• Experience operating in the Brazilian market.
