Engineering Manager – DataHub Squad

About the role

Experian is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Brazil‑based DataHub squad. You will combine people leadership, delivery ownership, and hands‑on technical guidance while collaborating with global teams to expand DataHub capabilities and make Brazil a hub for self‑service integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and manage a team of engineers, driving engagement and career growth.
• Own delivery planning and execution with product and global stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, critical paths and engineering reviews.
• Deliver full‑stack solutions using Java/Spring and Angular or React, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with global DataHub teams (KL, North America) to extend platform integrations.
• Enforce strong engineering practices: unit, integration and automation testing, CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes.
• Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis and continuous reliability improvements.
• Promote inner‑source contributions and maintain high standards for security, compliance and code quality (SonarQube, security scanning).
• Communicate progress, risks and trade‑offs to stakeholders across regions.
• Support hiring and talent development to scale the team.

Required profile

• Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
• Experience working in a global, multi‑regional environment.
