Engineering Manager – DataHub Squad

About the role

Experian is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Brazil‑based DataHub squad. You will combine people leadership, delivery ownership, and hands‑on technical guidance while collaborating with global teams to expand DataHub capabilities and make Brazil a self‑service hub.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, managing performance and career growth.
• Own delivery planning and execution with product and global stakeholders, handling risks and dependencies.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, critical paths, and engineering reviews.
• Drive full‑stack delivery using Java/Spring and Angular or React, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with KL DataHub, North America, and regional partners to extend integrations.
• Maintain strong engineering practices: unit, integration, automation testing, CI/CD pipelines, and safe release processes.
• Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements.
• Promote inner‑source contributions and ensure security, compliance, and code quality with tools like SonarQube.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade‑offs to stakeholders across regions.
• Support hiring and talent development to scale the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software engineering, especially backend development.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills and ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Experience delivering complex, full‑stack solutions in a global environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
