Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Tocantins, Brazil. The role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance while acting as a strategic partner to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Provide financial insights to support M&A, fundraising, and other corporate finance initiatives.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and establish financial controls.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and treasury relationships.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft ERP.
• Proficiency with advanced financial reporting tools.
