Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is the most technically complete role at Oscilar, sitting at the intersection of customer success, platform expertise, and agentic AI deployment. You own the full technical relationship from pre‑sales discovery through live production and ongoing expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with prospective customers, design proof‑of‑concept implementations, and present solution architectures tailored to each prospect’s environment.
• Own end‑to‑end technical implementation for new customers, including integration design, data mapping, agent workflow configuration, and UAT support.
• Design, deploy, and tune multi‑step agentic AI workflows for fraud, credit, compliance and other risk use cases, including prompt engineering and back‑testing.
• Synthesize patterns across deployments to provide product feedback, create reusable playbooks, and influence the product roadmap.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a technical customer‑facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end implementations for financial services customers, especially in fraud, credit risk, AML/compliance or payments.
• Hands‑on experience building and configuring LLM‑powered or agentic AI systems in an enterprise context.

Required skills

• Strong command of REST APIs, webhooks, and data integration patterns (ETL, event streaming, Snowflake, other cloud data warehouses).
• Proficiency with SQL and JSON for data pipeline, model output, and schema handling.
• Deep experience using LLMs (Claude, GPT, etc.) for prompt engineering, workflow automation, and debugging AI agents.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as agent orchestration, tool use, memory, human‑in‑the‑loop design, and evaluation frameworks.
