Fullstack Engineer – Payments Platform

About the role

Join Stripe’s Global Payments Experiences team as a Fullstack Engineer based in São Paulo. You will help build and maintain new payment methods for the LATAM and North America markets, working closely with internal platform teams and external partners to expand Stripe’s payment offerings worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration experiences that prioritize end‑user simplicity and developer experience.
• Develop back‑end services and integrations across Stripe’s payments product suite.
• Collaborate with external partners to define and build technical solutions.
• Engage directly with users to understand business needs and translate them into concrete product features.
• Work with cross‑functional teams—including product, partnerships, engineering platforms, and other engineering groups—to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to shared software platforms used across Stripe’s payments ecosystem.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple geographies.
• Proven ability to build extensible software solutions that scale to diverse user needs.
