Helpdesk Engineer, Corporate IT

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Helpdesk Engineer to join our Corporate IT team. You will provide responsive technical support to internal employees, ensuring stable networks, reliable systems, and a seamless IT experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day technical support for computers, printers, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end‑user application issues and maintain support documentation.
• Manage IT assets, keep inventory up to date, and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor and maintain office network infrastructure, security tools, and antivirus solutions.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting for scheduled server backups, system monitoring, and reporting.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to provide after‑hours or weekend support when needed.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN, switching and routing fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration; basic Linux server knowledge is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications and/or CCNA are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Cisco devices such as firewalls, switches, IP phones, wireless controllers and access points.
• Experience with asset management, antivirus tools, server backup procedures and system monitoring.
