HSE Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our team in Sorocaba, Brazil. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will lead audits, inspections and environmental risk assessments to ensure compliance with occupational safety legislation and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identify hazardous conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and update the Environmental Risk Management Plan (PGR) and support SIPAT activities.
• Investigate occupational diseases and accidents, determine root causes and enforce preventive measures.
• Coordinate safety services for restaurant, security, concierge and restricted areas, ensuring safe access for staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) to develop corrective solutions.
• Participate in building modification and new installation projects to improve safety standards.
• Develop and maintain OSH policies, documentation and legal compliance records.
• Organize training, campaigns and educational activities on occupational health and safety.
• Manage fire‑fighting equipment maintenance, PPE distribution and safety signage.
• Collect and analyse accident and disease statistics to drive preventive actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health, safety and environmental management.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian HSE legislation, standards and company guidelines.
• Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills for training, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
