Information Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security controls that protect its global infrastructure and client data. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a multicultural team of top‑tier tech talent.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security measures across systems, networks, and cloud environments.
• Monitor infrastructure for threats, investigate incidents, and lead response actions.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date security policies, documentation, and procedures.
• Partner with development teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
• Research emerging security technologies and evolving threat landscapes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, best practices, and compliance standards.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
