Junior IT Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring a Junior IT Specialist to join its IT Support Team in Brazil. The role is remote and combines operational responsibilities with day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting, working with internal users and contractors across different environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and administer macOS, Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, system and software issues
• Configure laptops, reinstall operating systems and set up required software
• Manage users and permissions in Google Workspace, Atlassian and similar platforms
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Handle IT equipment logistics, including sourcing, inventory and delivery coordination for contractors
• Maintain internal lab environments and networks
• Assist with basic scripting and automation tasks

Required profile

• Experience troubleshooting hardware, systems and applications
• Experience with macOS, Linux (Ubuntu) or Windows environments
• Experience configuring laptops, reinstalling OS and setting up software
• Experience managing users and permissions in Google Workspace, Atlassian or similar
• Ability to create and maintain clear documentation
• Intermediate+ English and strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Desirable: previous IT support, helpdesk or system administration experience

Required skills

• Google Workspace and Atlassian tools
• Basic scripting knowledge or interest in Bash, PowerShell or Python
• Desirable: familiarity with SaaS systems and cloud services
