Maths Teacher – Remote (Short‑term Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified mathematics expert to work remotely on a short‑term contract. You will design and solve challenging mathematical problems that are used to evaluate large language models (LLMs). The role starts immediately and lasts for 11 weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced mathematics problems for LLM evaluation benchmarks.
• Create clear, step‑by‑step solutions with detailed reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to develop new evaluation tasks ranging from undergraduate to PhD level.
• Help define and document new benchmark specifications.
• Analyze complex mathematical questions using logical and structured approaches.

Required profile

• Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong research, analytical, and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills for explaining concepts in simple language, with visuals and examples.
