Mid-Level Designer (Public Health) – São Paulo

About the role

Vital Strategies is seeking a motivated and creative Mid‑Level Designer to support design activities across public‑health projects. Based in São Paulo, the role is hybrid and reports to the Creative Director in New York and the Deputy Director of Institutional Communications in São Paulo. You will work with the global design team to produce visual materials that strengthen communication and advance the organization’s health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging visual assets for communication campaigns, reports, presentations, and digital platforms.
• Adapt designs for both print and online formats while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with project teams, subject‑matter experts, and the global design team to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality materials.
• Manage design files, version control, and asset libraries.
• Support the creation of institutional communication materials for multiple offices.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in graphic or visual design, preferably in the public‑health or nonprofit sector.
• Strong creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Fluency in English (CV must be submitted in English) and Portuguese.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially racial equity in Brazil.
